I am Glory Silva formed Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist in the University of the Bosque Bogota Colombia. During 18 years works in the Foundation Valley of the Lili Cali Colombia, institution without intention of profit to the service of the community, structuring the Cardiovascular Anesthesia program of the region and at the moment I carry out in the Unit of Congenital heart defects of the Imbanaco Medical center of Cali, taking care of the favored pediatric population less of the country with cardiovascular pathology coming from depressed regions of my country.
I comprise of the Board of the Clinical Foundation Infantile Noel Club, pediatric hospital with 90 years of antiquity, without profit intention that also takes care of population of limited resources for pediatric surgeries.
Through program Magical Hearts I was benefitted to realize, as medical visitor, a clinical rotation in the University Hospital of Saarland, Homburg Germany, one of the best University Hospitals of the Center of Europe, specifically in the program of Cardiovascular Surgery and Thorax directed by Professor Hans Joachin Schafers.
Because of which the success in the treatment of children with cardiovascular disease is excellent medical training, I send the Project Magical Hearts in Cali Colombia, in associate with the Foundation Montebellos Kinder and the Mimhos Program of the University Hospital of the Valley, to support beneficial organizations in Cali, Colombia and thus to consolidate a program of continued education to transmit and to reinforce knowledge in the handling of patients with cardiovascular disease.

In this time and its group they have realized 68 procedures that have included repairs of mitral valve, repairs of aortic valve, Yacoub Procedure, resection of descendant aortic aneurysm, endarterectomia pulmonary and surgery of Monrro for hypertrophic correction of cardiomiopatia, complex Surgery of Thorax , Transplant of Lung and repair of defects for congenital heart disease.
In addition to all the previous one I have been able to appreciate and to admire the organization of the work, the processes the quality, security and its culture generally. I have been related to its people, known its universality, ownership, his its historical influence brings back to consciousness social.
Always with permanent attitude of formality, quality and perfection in the medical care that offer to their patients, with discipline, respecting standards, punctuality, honesty and doing marked to difference between the working time the personnel , the social and the work time.
It has been this enriching experience from the personnel to the professional.
